Friends, I have something fun to share with you all today! My blogging pal Carol, from the book review blog Reading Ladies, has posted her fifth annual roundup of Great Summer Reads and she once again invited me to participate! I, along with several bloggers from around the world, contributed one “not-to-be-missed” book recommendation for you to add to your summer TBR.
I love this annual post because it introduces me to many titles that otherwise would not have been on my radar. In fact, of the nearly twenty books recommended, I have only read ONE (and it was the one I contributed!), and quite a few of the recommended books were titles I had not even heard of. I am so happy to vicariously be introducing you to several books that you would never have seen here on my blog.

I enjoyed it! I’m also reading Covenant of Water and it’s a laborious read in some ways, so it was a nice brain break! I like that she always offers substantial content when it would be easy to just write fluff! I thought her 5 senses portrait of her husband was interesting! Have you read Joyful? Senses might pair nicely!
