Readers, I hope you have your summer TBR lists ready because we are about to add a whole handful of books to those lists today! I was recently invited by Carol of the blog Reading Ladies Book Club to participate in her annual “Summer’s One Must Read Book” post. Each summer, Carol invites book bloggers from around the world to contribute their recommendations for recent releases they think other readers will love. I was thrilled that Carol invited me to participate for the sixth year in a row!

The strength of this collection is its DIVERSITY! Twenty bloggers, hailing from different parts of the world and with wide-ranging reading tastes, have recommended books from various genres. This list includes everything from romantic comedies and mysteries to historical fiction, YA fantasy, and suspense. Each reader has not only suggested WHICH book we think you should read this summer; we’ve also told you WHY you will love these books. Of the twenty titles shared, nearly every one was brand new to me, and I added quite a few to my own TBR.
