Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who has birthed or raised or loved a child; to everyone who has longed for a child and whose prayers have not yet been answered; to everyone who has known and lost a mother’s love; and to all of you (us) who are so grateful for this role of motherhood but may be foundering in the immensity of it all. I pray that you feel seen, valued, and cherished today. (And an extra special Happy Mother’s Day to my own Mom, the best of them all.)
